Weekly Import Round-Up June 7th

The Weekly Import Round-Up is a short presentation of games coming from the far East right to the Occident announced all week long, showing you updates on already announced and released titles, and giving you a quick look at what and when we get these titles on console or PC.

This week:

Every few years we get a Dr. Mario title, and here is a new one as announced in the Nintendo Mini-Direct via YouTube, which you can see above. The game, called Dr. Mario: Miracle Cure, will be available with all its classic and even new features like a multiplayer download mode, co-op mode, and Miracle Cures, on June 11 via the 3DS eShop.

Bravely Second: End Layer

Next year, the West is expecting Square Enix's Bravely Second: End Layer which was recently released in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS. The JRPG got high scores by Japanese magazine Famitsu and sold about 100,000 copies in its first week of release. It's a sequel to Bravely Default from 2012 and plays two and a half years after the events of the prequel. There are some screenshots for you to gaze at at Siliconera.

Nintendo's last announcement of games coming west was Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash, which is being released in North America this October and in Europe in November this year. The fifth installment of the action side-scroller comes to Nintendo 3DS with Amiibo compatibility, which lets you transform your Chibi-Robo in a Super Chibi-Robo while leveling up the Amiibo.

Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below

What a title! And what a game it is! North American PlayStation 4 gamers will be pleased with a release of Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below on October 13, Square Enix announced. This game will feature a bunch of known characters we met in previous Dragon Quest games, like Alena, Kiryl and Maya from Dragon Quest 4, Bianca and Nera from Dragon Quest 5, Terry from Dragon Quest 6, and Jessica and Yangus from Dragon Quest 8. Additionally, new characters will also make an appearance, presented in the trailer, we see Aurora and Luceus, which will be the new playable characters, and enemies and friends. Dragon Quest Heroes, unlike the older Dragon Quests, is a action RPG that plays much like Dynasty Warriors hack-and-slash game. I will definitely look forward to that title and hope it comes to Europe one day as well.
