Weekly Import Round-Up June 14th

The Weekly Import Round-Up is a short presentation of games coming from the far East right to the Occident announced all week long, showing you updates on already announced and released titles, and giving you a quick look at what and when we get these titles on console or PC.

Side note: I write this in my free time, so sometimes I miss some news, even the bigger ones, but I'm trying to get you updated as good as possible. I figured that the last few days of a week I can't keep up with all the news and just "trash 'em" when this post goes live, since I only want to write about stuff that happened in the same week and not in the last one. I know that the target audience of import games isn't that big but I'm doing this to keep me busy writing stuff during the week... sounds weird right? Can't keep up with the news, still wanna feel busy, lol!

This week:

Mega Man Legacy Collection

All Mega Man fans, hear ye, hear ye! Capcom announced a Legacy Collection of all Mega Man games from the first to Mega Man 6... so not really all Mega Man games but it's at least something I guess.

The collection will come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC this summer, and to Nintendo 3DS later in the winter.

Here the official trailer for your amusement of 8-bit classic music and graphics:

The press release summed up talks about the new features of the game, which is the ability to turn water into ice or ice into water, by changing Sonic's status. How that works, you will see in the trailer below. Also, there will be a multiplayer mode, called Bot Racing, where you challenge your friends. The Legend of Legacy

Publisher Atlus comes to us with another announcement for the Nintendo 3DS, The Legend of Legacy, the JRPG from FuRyu's studios, coming to North and South America this fall. It will be priced at $39.99 / CA$49.99 in retail and digital stores. You play as one of seven playable characters on a holy island called Avalon, which awoke from a period of slumber, materialized itself in a sea from out of nowhere. Astebreed

Nayan Ramachandran from Playism wrote this week on the US version of the PlayStation Blog that they are bringing another Japanese game to the West and the PS4. Well, in the case of Astebreed, it has already made an appearance on Steam and got "very positive" user reviews (92% positive). The side-scrolling shmup from Edelweiss' studios is now coming to PS4. The game has everything you want in a Japanese title, mechs, missiles, lasers, and a lot of explosions. But it's not side-scrolling only, turning the camera seamlessly in-game, you will play Astebreed as a vertical as well. That brings a whole new dynamic to the shoot 'em up genre. The anime intensified game comes with new updates like a new mode, "Arrange Mode", new mech upgrades, and improvements to the overall game.

The game will be out on June 25, purchasable via the PlayStation Store for $19.99.
